Flash-setting cement. This product is available only by special order, and is used before cementing where high losses are anticipated.

 

To use, the thief zone is pre-treated with our patented E-lock. Adding our proprietary E-Lock blend makes the zone resistant to leak­­­-off and will cause immediate crosslinking and curing of cement upon contact.

 

In addition,  BlueNose Technologies E2 can be added into the cement slurry at a rate determined through pilot testing with the cement blend. When the cement is pumped the E2 will react with the E-Lock, forming a solid bond with the zone, effectively stopping losses. This system can be used for remedial cementing.
